Today on Monday Mysteries I have a hodgepodge of photos related to a variety seasonally-themed mysteries. I’ve noted in the description for each one why it represents some type of mystery, photographic or otherwise.
The last photo in the gallery provides the title for this post.
Enjoy.
- Gold Tree on a flavored cappuccino, London
- Santa Run, Verona, December 2014
- Many Skinny Santas, Verona
- Christmas quarkteig dessert
- Ice cream on a snowy day, Tübingen, December 29, 2014
- Ice cream sign, Tübingen, December 29, 2014
- The tree that wasn’t there, Leamington Spa, England
I think the picture of everyone is Santa suits is one of the strangest things I’ve seen. Is this the Americanization of Italy?
Thanks, Stan. I’m not what to make of it, as the Santas looked odd, with very flat (not fluffy) beards, and such skinny costumes!
Maybe this would help: https://www.santacon.info
In San Francisco, Santa Con plays out like a bar-crawling frat party in and around Union Square– we ran into it on Dec 13 and will try to avoid it in the future!
Thanks, Dovie. That santacon website doesn’t list Verona as one of the places, but it must be something like that. Except with race (in Verona) and a sponsor that markets juice and milk drinks.
