In today’s weather update, it was snowing this morning, with a temperature reported as -15ºC/5ºF. Or maybe it was colder. I could believe it was colder.

Our weather has taken a sudden shift toward winter this week, due to the arrival of a high-pressure system from Siberia, called a Hochdruckgebiet.

When we moved to Vancouver a few years back, people there told us “It never snows here”. But in fact it actually snowed in Vancouver.
In what I always consider an unusual coincidence, my father and Chris’ father were both born on December 14th, which means they share a birthday.
I’ve gotta another thing to try for that postcard shot here in Tübingen: that “postcard shot” at night. 😉
