Due to technical problems with our internet connection at home today, my planned post about Gaudí has been delayed. Instead, I can offer a panorama I took the other day of Tübingen, which I was saving for a rainy day (so to speak). It actually is a rainy day today, but I don’t think that has anything to do with the internet problems we’re having.
Going for Gaudí
Today’s the day we begin our look at the work of Gaudí, the artist and architect whose work is currently the biggest tourist attraction in Barcelona. Continue reading
Easter Colors
Today and Monday are both holidays here in Germany. I forgot to mention yesterday that I wouldn’t be blogging, so today let’s jump back from Barcelona for a quick look as some Easter Colors in Tübingen.
Suddenly Sundials
So we were on the tour bus in Barcelona, passing by all kinds of interesting buildings. And suddenly I spot a church that seems to have 2 sundials on its bell tower. Roman Barcelona
As promised on Friday, today we’re taking a trip back in time to Roman Barcelona. Continue reading
A sneak peek at Roman Barcelona
So, this morning we had the test for the last of “B1” sequence of (4) courses, and I’m amazed to report that I got an A-. Whoohoo! Let’s just say that I got lucky with some of my guesses, since it turned out that things that were on the test I didn’t study, and other things I studied weren’t on the test. Continue reading
Keeping the tourists satisfied
Today is just a quick post, as another 3 weeks have passed since my last German test, and therefore we have another test tomorrow.
A quick peek inside the Barcelona Cathedral
