I always enjoy walking around in Verona at Christmas time, since the city is usually decked out with season decorations, including the massive metal Christmas star that emanates from the L’Arena, the old Roman amphitheatre at this time of year.

Thanks to our friends MO and SM, we got to visit a winery museum near Verona on our last trip to Italy.
Chris and I love to hang out in Piazza Bra in Verona, sitting on a bench, and gazing at L’Arena, the nearly 2000-year-old Roman amphitheatre that is still in use today.
So it was one of those days where everything took longer than I thought.
