As I mentioned yesterday, Tübingen does not have a rich tradition of celebrating in the Carnival season that leads up to Lent.
For any of you who regularly check the webcam in the Marktplatz in Tübingen (via the link on the right side of this page), you may have noticed that they have put up a tree in the Marktplatz.

The weather forecast starting tomorrow predicts temperatures of zero and above, which means that — in theory — the Neckar River will begin to un-freeze.
