On Paperwork and Postcard Shots
So this week Chris and I have been mired in paperwork. My preoccupation with preparing all of that has led to an unfortunate dearth of posts this week.

Although Chris and I will often try to walk along the Adige in Verona on our visits, I’m usually focussed on the water, both literally, and also for the subject of my photos.

Although I talked about the fountain from Cologne yesterday, the main tourist attraction in Cologne is really their enormous Gothic cathedral. So it was to be expected that the cathedral would factor into the standard postcard shot from Cologne.

Let me take you back a week ago, when everything was snow-covered here in Tübingen. What a difference a week makes:
Chris and I love to hang out in Piazza Bra in Verona, sitting on a bench, and gazing at L’Arena, the nearly 2000-year-old Roman amphitheatre that is still in use today.
