Scene in the River

The swan yesterday was on a branch of the Neckar River, not far from where it hooks up with the main part of the river.  Standing with my back to the swan, I looked out and saw the following scene in main branch of the river:

I use “in” not “on” here deliberately: the entire photo shows a reflection of the real view I saw.

As you probably can tell, I have flipped the photo 180° to put the sky on top in the final photo. But can you also tell that I applied a slight blue gradient to the sky? It enhanced the blue of the sky, while darking some of the other colors. Kind of fun to play with effects like that, even though I don’t do it all that often. What I like about it here is that I don’t think you can tell I’ve done anything to the sky just by glancing at the photo, since sometimes the sky really is that blue. 😉
