It figures – I had so many little things to do today that I ran out of time to write my blog post.
So, in lieu of a proper post, I offer merely a few photos of carvings of various figures which are either on or near the Stiftskirche, the largest church in Tübingen. I don’t know anything about them, I just find them interesting.
The first one is on the front of the church, and I’ve been meaning to snap a photo of it practically since we arrived.
I only noticed the other two on the back side of the church recently, as I don’t usually walk along that part of the church. But when you go around and look at the various sides more carefully , it turns out that there are some interesting decorations there. Who knew they’d put something unusual there — go figure, eh?
