Have you figured it out? That’s actually a reflection of the window and ceiling in a mirrored table. The table was set up specifically to give visitors better views of the Rose Window, which is what those people are looking at. However, it worked equally well to take a photo of the window on the other side, too. I have turned my photo upside down, which makes the ceiling and window right-side up. Now that I’ve let you in on the secret, go take another look at the photos of the Rose WIndow. They are also photos of a reflection – the light and angle made it difficult to get a good shot of the actual window from below.
