Perhaps the puddle “pieces” in the following photos could better be described as “picture fragments”, since they do remind me a bit of the fragments of murals and paintings that can sometimes be revealed under pieces of wallpaper when old buildings are renovated.
But, what came to mind when I spotted the puddles that appear in the photos below was that the puddles seemed like a series of jigsaw puzzle pieces, where the whole puzzle hadn’t been put together yet.

Jigsaw puddles – marvels for the eye and for the mind – can’t get enough of them!
Great idea. Funny I see them also as nature’ s cure for graffiti. As graffiti is an overlay of what was. I have done some paintings like that. And will do more
