In today’s weather update, it was snowing this morning, with a temperature reported as -15ºC/5ºF. Or maybe it was colder. I could believe it was colder.
By noon the snow had stopped and the sun had peeked out. And it was definitely a lot colder. I managed a couple of photos before my fingers cried out for the gloves. But the photos below give a sense of how much ice there is on the river – note the nice blanket of snow neatly laid on top.
The prediction for tomorrow is a relatively balmy -5ºC. Still below freezing, but we’ll see what that does to the ice.
My fingers will certainly appreciate the temporary “heat wave” when I stop to take another photo tomorrow. 😉
The pictures are great, but fingers are precious. Maybe cutting the tips off on a pair of gloves might be a better way to take the pics than using bare hands.
Winter looks beautiful when the sun comes out. lots of beautiful colors. Including blue fingers. Great pics of the the past couple of days.
I love seeing all your variations on the postcard shot. This is turning into an opus.
