I love trying to take a variety of photos of the Stella Cometa (“Ephiphany Star” in Verona. I’ve got an odd batch from our last trip — odd because I’ve heavily processed them in my “digital darkroom” to create some different effects. All of the photos below were taken with my cell phone camera.
See what you think.

On a different topic, before we moved to Europe 6.5 years ago and started teaching photography, I worked as a UI designer and Usability Expert. So, as a trip back into my old domain, I’m giving an invited talk on Friday at a workshop near Bonn, Germany. Chris is giving a talk at the same workshop, but about his visualization work. I bring this up because while I had hoped to get a couple of blog posts queued up for the next two days, that didn’t happen. So, the blog will be on hiatus again until Monday. See you then!
I liked Artsy #5 by far the most because, for lack of a better word, it was “pure star.”
It was the whole star and very little of anything else!
Both talking at the same workshop, and at least one of them an invited talk. That’s a hoot! Viel glück!
