You already know the buildings from the “postcard shot” in Tübingen. Usually I’m standing on some bridge or other to take a photos of those colorful buildings along the Neckar River.
Today we have a twist on that theme. In the photos in the gallery below, those buildings are seen not from the side, but from below. That same 10-year old visitor, N—, the one I mentioned yesterday, wanted to rent a rowboat on Sunday to go for a ride on the river. So, we rented a rowboat big enough for six. N– , her 17 year old sister, and her parents all took turns rowing. Chris relaxed in a back seat and guarded the purses.
Me, well, I spent the time enjoying the ride and taking a few photos. Well, more than a few, but I’ve only had time to sort a few of them – those are below.
Enjoy.

Love the view from the water, but didn’t anyone wave?
It was very interesting to see the kids on the wall. Nice!
Thanks – the folks sit on the wall and eat gelato, mostly. There are too many people going by in boats so no one waves, or else you’d have to wave constantly. People we passed on the river in other boats did sometimes wave to us, and vice versa.
