Today I have included 2 versions each of 2 different photos of trees along the Neckar River. The variation is for trying to adjust the colors in the different versions: the yellower/browner ones are how they came out of the camera, but my recollection was that the overall scene should was slightly bluer in person because the sky had a nice blue tint to it that day.
The tricky bit in the photos is that the trees are actually not along the edge of the river at all. They are in reality set back a little further from the edge of the river than they appear in the photos. It’s an illusion in the photos because “the trees” you see in the photo aren’t the real trees themselves. Everything pictured, except for the very small bit of grass at the bottom, is just a reflection.
