From partway up the side of the hill, you unexpectely get a different kind of view of Tübingen: no castle (blocked by the trees on the right) and no Stiftskirche (blocked by the roof on the left). It doesn’t look like Tübingen, at least not as it’s “classically” represented in the photos. Here, the steeple of Jakobskirche takes center stage; as in previous photos in this album, it usually gets dwarfed by the bigger church when the two appear together in the scene.
