This group was the group that I thought would be the losing team – the paddlers, but not the pilot, had painted their faces green. I thought that their green faces could have been unintentionally apropos were they to wind up the losing team, since they would have had to drink the cod liver oil. When I took the photo, they were in last place, but in the last stretch of the race, they did manage to overtake the group Arminia, who officially came in last.
