Scene in a Sphere

While we were walking down the street on Sunday, Chris noticed as we turned the corner onto a neighboring street that there were these huge reflective spheres in a shop window.

Which meant we had to stop so I could take a photo or two … or ten … or more.

Below are some of my attempts at what worked out to be mostly some of those unusual self-portraits of a certain type. Mostly I haven’t yet done anything to “tweak” them to enhance the colors or contrast, so what you’re seeing is essentially the “raw material” with which I may try to make a “masterpiece” later – what I call photos with “star” potential, when I have more time to play a little more with them. 😉

Anyway, see what you think. I think some of them are kind of fun and quirky. I have in a few cases flipped the photos upside down, for reasons that are noted in the captions displayed with each full-sized photo.  But otherwise, what you see is what I set the camera to record on Sunday.

Enjoy.

  1. I liked number 7 the best, partly because the right foreground did look like a natural room and partly because the street and houses had a gentle curve to them!
