As a follow-up to a path not taken post from a couple of weeks ago…
So, later that same week I was walking through the park and looked over and saw a curious sight. We had had enough snowfall to cover most of the ground, and there was snowing clinging to bushes and trees here and there. However, there was an unexpected patch of green grass beneath a tree, even though it didn’t look like the tree branches would have been sufficient to block that much snow from getting to the ground.
In order to take the photos below, I had to veer off my usual path to go into the park and get closer to the tree. And suddenly I realized I was on that “path not taken” I’d talked about. At least when it came to the literal meaning in my post: I actually was on a path I’d never walked along before. Fun to find new places to go, even in the park I walk through everyday on my regular route.
Anyway, today was a day when it seemed like spring here, with temps in the 50’s and sunny. There wasn’t a bit of snow to be seen anywhere.
Which means it makes no sense to post a photo of snow, really.
But I’ll do it anyway. 😉 Enjoy.
I like getting a mix of Spring and Winter in the same picture. Very Nice!
