We first visited Verona 10 years ago in December 2002, thanks to our friend M- (top left) and his then-girlfriend S- (bottom left). We had the honor of attending (and photographing!) their wedding a couple of years ago – the other couple are their Venetian friends, L– and A–, that we met at the wedding. They were there this year on New Year’s Eve, along with the Friendly Tourist, waiting for the fireworks spectacular to start at midnight.
