We’re back from a week in Verona. More on our highly enjoyable trip in the days to come. For today, though, let’s just go back to a week ago today, on New Year’s Eve, and the celebration at midnight in Piazza Bra in Verona at 2013 began.
Enjoy.

I love judging your pictures to point out the ones I like the best: #2 gets the prize because the leaves frame a lot of activity–a LOT of activity. #16 has a more delicate picture famed by leaves, so it is second best. Finally, I really liked the timing of #12 and its stalwart, traditional composition. So be it. Thanks Linda!
Thanks, Stan!
