Another take on the puddles. I didn’t intend to post so many puddles all in a row, but it was rainy here for a few days in a row, and when it rains, it puddles…

The photos today are ones that fit more into the category of the kind of puddle photo in this link, where the puddle acts like a frame  — i.e. a window frame or a picture frame. The eye is initially tricked in a way that, as Will so eloquently put in his comment, “the first impression is that we’re peering into a cut in a stone wall, and then we realize … ”

Except I think these aren’t quite as frame-like as some earlier ones, possibly because I haven’t had as much time to adjust them as much in my “digital darkroom” for lightness, contrast, etc.
