Tangled Webs

I have tried to find any potential way to find a connection between modern-day Scarborough, Sir Walter Scott, his poem Marmion,  and the photos I’m posting today. But, the only link I’ve come up with is merely the first thing that popped into my mind when trying to describe these photos: Oh, what a tangled web we weave, an oft-quoted line from that poem.

Of course, Sir Walter Scott wasn’t talking about spiders literally spinning tangled webs. But the spiders in Scarborough certainly do that well.

  1. Golly, Miss Molly, super shots. I like each one. The b&w with the seeds are cool. And the spiral last one withe the crescendo of what 6-7 webs. Very fine shooting L.L. McIntyre.

  2. Thanks, Kathy! While I liked them all, I was particularly happy with those crescent ones at the end and how they came out. Thanks again. 🙂
