I first saw that trompe l’oeil building from the this tourist train, and then wound my way back through the streets to find it later (and eventually ate at that cafe). I’ve included this photo since without all the umbellas raised at the cafe, you can see the seated figures painted by the doorway. To the right of them you can see the legs of two people seated on the railing that leads up the steps to that door. It’s all an illusion … there are no people since there are actually no steps nor a door there. Very cool.
