For those who don’t recognize the title, it’s a play on the line “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain,” from the movie The Wizard of Oz. The wizard himself utters that line when he is revealed to be not the fearsome visage Dorothy and her friends had first seen, but rather just an ordinary man who is standing at a microphone hidden behind a curtain.
OK, it’s a stretch, but I needed something catchy to introduce today’s post, which is otherwise merely an announcement that I need to switch the behind the scenes technology used to power the blog. The upshot is that I will need to take a pause in posting new entries tomorrow. Theoretically, all the changes will be made tomorrow, so by Thursday things are scheduled to be back to normal here on Two to TÜ.
So, no new post tomorrow. But in its place, how about a musical number that I can offer you today for Tomorrow. OK, so the first number in the clip, performed by the fabulous Dorothy Loudon and other members of the original Broadway cast of Annie, is actually my favorite number from that musical, called Easy Street. However, the big song about the day after today comes at the end of that clip.
In any case, hope to see you back here on the blog the day after tomorrow.
See u then.
