Return to Casa Milà

In today’s post we head back to Casa Milà in Barcelona, to see how it inspired some great photographic work by Chris.  I really like how Chris captures that rooftop terrace and its figures in a very creative way. You can see how much you recognize from my photos in the previous posts: of Casa Milà, of “Brigadoon”, and of Gaudí’s Cathedral.

I’ve also included a great photo Chris took that’s not of the Casa Milà terrace, but of the building next door to Casa Milà.  Thanks, Chris, for sharing these photos with the Two to Tübingen readers!

BTW, yes, that’s me in the last photo, wearing the fancy Spanish coat that I bought in Barcelona. 😉

  1. first Linda the picture of you is antastic and that coat interesting. The pictures Chris took were very good. Most of them are like modern art paintings. I liked how the crane in the background of the building was like a cross created in the style of Gaudi. Maybe his intent was that it should always be in the process of becoming so cranes could be crosses and by virtue of its presence one should worship Gaudi or at least his work. Ok I know I bring creative thought into the narrative eschewing proper logic. What can I say….

  2. I liked pictures 15 and 20 because of the intriguing design of all the shapes. However, I liked #23 the best because it had a powerful effect on my eyes. I could feel it forcing my eyes”to cross.”
